Christina Vantzou
In the last decade Christina Vantzou has gone from an art student playing around with motion graphics and animations to designing projections for touring musicians, co-founding The Dead Texan with her partner Adam Wiltzie and eventually creating her own solo audiovisual project. The Dead Texan toured extensively in 2005-2006 and in 2007 Christina was commissioned to make animations and play onstage with Sparklehorse. In the meantime commissions for videos also developed into collaborations with Christopher Willits

The Bering Sea
This song is part from the album "The noise floor: a compendium of overdubbed memories", an ambient/post-rock/experimental album where the noise is used like any other instrument. This is the context of the album: I've always thought that the mind works like the old cassette tapes. Every time you relive those memories that roam your head, the reality gets distorted a little more and the noise floor gets bigger. Over and over again, until only a deafening noise remains.
